The very first lecture

Before i touch on assignment 1, i would like to talk more about the first lecture of nm2208. It was going all fine and good and even though the most repeated sentence was "This is a REALLY heavy module". My friend, an alien, took it last sem and he throughly enjoyed it. He did warn me about the heavy heavy workload but at the same time he keep stressing about the enjoyable part. I always have wanted to try my hands on such a module, i always like to think of myself as a creative person. However thus far, it has been creativity on words, play on words and such. I do frequently have flashes of inspiration and ideas on playing around with the visuals, however i do not have the skill to realize those flashes as i cant draw nor do i know how to use any graphic applications other than MS Paint.

So, i who cant draw to save my life and only know how to use MS Paint, doing NM2208 - Principle of VISUAL Communications? It is like putting a mini treadmill in a fish tank and asking the fish to work it. Doesnt make sense? I thought so too. However, i like to challenge myself, and as well as making of this opportunity to learn what i always wanted to.

And then Julian ended the lecture 1 hr early (Hurrah!) and asked us to draw(crap...) an A4 poster that best represents ourselves with less than 50 words.

Hoo... welcome to the world of 2208.

And did i mention that i am partial color blind too?
This is gonna be a long long long long sem.
